I have an idea for a name game: Pick a language/nationality, and then choose a a boy/girl name you would use if you lived in that region (add pronunciations if you think people won't know how to pronounce)
For me, I really wish I was French so I could use:
Girl - Aurelie (orh-e-LEE)
Boy - Bertrand (bare-TRAHN)
Re: name game: if you were of a different nationality...
EDIT: maybe French actually...so I could use Eponine for a girl!
Italian
Gioia= Joy-a
French
Colette
I would love to visit Central and South America.
I have had a name crush on Alejandra for about a decade.
For a boy I'd use Javier.
Faolan for a boy Fway lan
Saoirse for a girl. Seer sha
If I (or DH) were Mexican American...
Girl: Guadalupe (Lupe)
Boy: Jorge, Juan, Sergio
I also love Teresa pronounced the Spanish way and have it on the list if we have a girl. If we were having twin daughters I'd use Teresa for sure.
Greek people aren't actually named Hermione (at least, no one I know in "modern" times), so I'd say you can use it regardless of nationality.
Hmm, I would probably say Italian. I love a lot of Italian names like Luca, Lucia, Giovanni, Giada, etc.
OP, my old apartment is actually in your sig pic, hah!
I would go Greek for sure. Along the lines of Persephone or Achilles.
Hm, these are more Greek mythology. Does that still count?
I just want to give you a world as beautiful as you are to me.
I have a thing for Gaelic names, but would probably use them regardless if I could get DH on board.
Girl :Grainne (he hated this one, but I love it.)
Boy: Callum (this was our runner up for boy's names)
Irish, though I guess I can use them since my mother/grandmother were born there.
Girl- Aoife (pronounced almost like EVEE)
Boy- Cillian (KILL-EE-UHN)
Though I've ALWAYS adored Russian names, so perhaps Russian.
Girl- Irina or Karina
Boy- Nikolai or Yurik
Ditto, though I am Lithuanian, but not like FROM there, so using a very distinctly Eastern European name would seem odd, especially with our very Anglo-Saxon last name.
I love the name Priyanka for a girl (Indian). I really like Caelum for a boy, but that's used plenty by Americans, so not sure it counts.

7DPO Progesterone: low. CD3 BW: normal, HSG: clear
DX: severe MFI (low all 3) and low T. Undergoing replacement therapy.
French: Remy and Genevieve
Oh, this is spot on!
I love the name Sakura but it'd probably get a lot of weird looks while stuck on a non-Japanese kiddo.
My sis married a Korean man so she at least got to use Korean middle names. I married another white euro mutt so we got nothing.
