Our 2.5 year old is normally a good sleeper (has been since about 6-9 months). She is still in a crib and over the past 3 months or so, she will wake up at night and want to come in to bed with us. She normally sleeps around 9 pm to 7 am and still takes at least a 2 hour nap daily - sometimes longer. When she does wake up, it is usually around 5 am, which is not that big of a deal because I get up at 6 am, but it seems to be more frequently. For instance, last night, she woke up at three and stood up in her crib and hollered (not crying) Mommy I am cold, several times before I got up to get her. Her room is of course not cold and she just wants to come to our bed. This is now happening at least 2 x per week.
Advice? Should I just suck it up and let her holler? Go in there and tell her to go back to sleep and leave the room? Rock her for a little and put her back down? I definitely want to get this reigned in before the new baby gets her, and we have plenty of time, but this is starting to stress me out. DH and I both work full time and getting into a battle at 3 am sounds NO fun!
Re: Waking up in the middle of the night (2.5 yr old)
Oh GF our toddler was a perfect sleeper until recently. Now she wakes a few times a week at around 5 a.m. and announces:
ALL DONE MIMIS. (All done sleeping in spanish slang)
And I go and get her and bring her to our bed lest she wake the baby and make me lose my mind. Then she sleeps the remaining 3 hours in bed with us. Oh and 50% of the time she DOES the wake the baby and I have to nurse the baby back to sleep.

Good actually. They are starting to "play" together and make each other laugh and it's really cute.
I am working FT. But the hours are fine 9-5 not a minute more
Paying the nanny is a B*** though

This morning she woke up at 5 am and called for me so I went in her room, told her it was still night night time and asked her to lay back down. I tucked her back in and she slept until 7:30. So I am hoping this will do the trick.
