Middle names that go with Grant?

We've decided on a first name for our boy: Grant.

My husband wants the middle name to have meaning, since Grant we picked just because we like it. These are all family names or have other meaning, but I've learned that not a lot "flows" with Grant. What do you think?

Grant Thomas

Grant Christopher

Grant Rearden

Grant Clifton

    I like Clifton but that's a name I love and DH doesn't.

    Grant Thomas is my favorite, but I also like Grant Patrick.

    I think Grant works well with all those MN, but Grant Rearden stands out. That may be because I read your name as Aggie Sara (correct me if I'm wrong) and Rearden sounds like a good Texas name. lol

    I like Thomas best.

    Patrick, Thomas and Christopher are all really nice, strong names.

    Clifton is okay.

    Is Rearden a family name? If not, I'm not a fan at all. I could get behind it if it's a family name though :-)

    Grant Patrick gets 100% of my vote!

    Since Grant is also a common surname, I would steer clear of Thomas, Rearden, or Clifton as I view those as surnames as well.

    I like Grant Patrick and Grant Reardon the best.

    Thomas is a good name, but I feel that the "t" at the end of Grant makes the flow into Thomas less smooth.

    FWIW, we went with Grant Michael.  Grant because we love it and Michael after my FIL.

    I like Grant Christopher best, but I think I just prefer 3 syllable names with a 1 syllable name. :) My favorite as far as the names themselves go is Patrick.

    Grant Thomas is my fave. I don't like Grant Rearden or Grant Clifton. The rest are fine.
