1 nap a day-ers

For those with LO's who nap 1x a day - is it before or after they eat lunch?

O is so random with his sleep and I am trying to establish something more concrete. Days we have music class he is so tired he either passes out in the car home or shortly after we get home so he has lunch when he wakes up (usually between 12 and 1)

Other days, like today, he didn't go down until 1.

Just wondering what others do. I really need to try and be consistent with this kid!

    Her nap is at 11 so lunch is after. She usually has a snack before her nap.

    Nap is at 12:00, so he eats lunch before. We follow his daycare schedule, so things are consistent.

    Everything about Tatum's naps depends on the day.  Some days she has one nap, some days she has two.  Sometimes her nap is before lunch, sometimes after.  It all depends on what she's up to that day.

    We are random nappers as well, but we usually wait to eat until after nap. He goes down anytime between 11 and 1.

    Nap is at 12:00, so he eats lunch before. We follow his daycare schedule, so things are consistent.

    We try to do this to keep on schedule with daycare but some weekends she is super tired and wanting to go down at 10.  I try to keep her going but if she is with DH he gives in.  She sleeps longer (2hours) if she naps in the afternoon.

    Before.

    She is up at 6/6:30 and falls asleep for nap around 10:30/11.  Feed her when she wakes and she goes until 8pm for bedtime.

    After.  She's a late napper.  She gets up between 8-9, usually (but she goes to bed between 8-9pm), and usually naps either from 2-4 or 3-5.  Sometimes after breakfast she will lay down for 20-40 mins.  She doesn't sleep, but she rests and plays quietly with toys.  It's a nice break for me and might be why she naps later.

    Same here. However today he took a nap from 11:30-2:00 and ate a late lunch.

    DS usually goes down for a nap between 12:30-1:00, so we've started doing lunch before his nap.  If he goes down any earlier, then he eats when he wakes up.
