Teething..

Are LOs usually extra sleepy when teething?  DS is def starting.. His gums feel funny in some spots and he chews on everything.. Plus s very fussy on and off.. But also always seems sleepy... Fights taking naps, but you can see he is sleepy bchis eyes   are glassy and red.. Poor little guy...

So tell me all your teething secrets!!  How can I keep him comfortable? 

Loss #1: 18w5d.. D&E 04Mar03 BFP #2: Jun2011.. missed miscarriage. D&C 08Jul2011 8w4d. BFP #3: Nov2011.. Our Rainbow Baby!!! DS Born: 15Jul2012! BFP #4: Nov2012.. 2U1 - DS2 born 12Jul2013.  BFP #5: 01Jan2014..3U3!!

    My kiddo was not. She was extra fussy/extra sleepless (lol since around that age I was lucky if she slept a total of 8 hours in any 24 hour period...). I had/have no problem dosing her with tylenol if I thought she was really in pain and it would ease the pain enough for her to nod off. She also really liked the frozen chew toys, a frozen washcloth, and I've heard some mamas have good luck with frozen fruit in a mesh feeder if you've started solids.
    BFP #1 9/23/09. Missed MC 10w3d D&C 11/3/09.

    Perhaps you're right.. It's not that he's extra sleepy it's jus he is always looking tired..  Think that's because he's constantly fighting sleep these days.. And when he does sleep, he wakes often which isn't allowing him to get good rest.. 

    Also.. He has a rash around his mouth? I'm thinking this is also teething related?
