Gut feelings on Baby's sex

Hey guys,

Since most June babies to be are nearing the second trimester and reaching the point where its possible for the tech to guess sex and later find out for sure , I'm going to share a game which DH and I have started. At every trimester and the positive test, we wrote down what gender we thought the little one was. We keep track of our gut feelings and hopes in each trimester so that when the child is announced and born, we wish to see if we were right all along.

We started this with my SIL on her pregnancies and it was fun. Her baby #1, I guessed girl the whole way and I was right. #2, I guessed boy all the way, and I was wrong. #3, I guessed girl , again, I was wrong.

With my baby, I guessed a boy from preg. test to 10 weeks. Now my gut is thinking girl, while DH has and still swears, it is a boy like the gender chart said.

Your thoughts on your own pregnancies? Are you "feeling" one sex over the other?

I have thought it was a boy most of my pregnancy but as of lately I feel like it is a girl. Idk why! My husband told me last night he has recently had this feeling it's a girl too. We find out in 2 weeks. Can't wait!

Today I have a doctors appt. I'm really excited to find out the sex. I'm 16weeks and I hope we found out today. I'm leaning more to a boy, and so is my fianc. I just had a dream it was a boy. Now I'm up while my fianc is sleeping haha . When I first found out I was pregnant I thought I was going to have a girl. But the farther the long I get I keep thinking its a boy! We shall see today!

I ave one of each and I kind of want a boy but I have gut feeling that I am having a girl. EIther way I will be happy I just pray for healthy!!!!

I always had a strong feeling that DS was a boy. With this pregnancy, I don't know! Maybe it is because there is one of each.

I've had a gut feel that it is a boy and the Chinese gender chart says girl, so I have no clue. I'll be happy either way!

With DS, I was hoping for a girl but knew it was a boy. With this baby, I just feel like it's a girl but I have horrible intuition so it's probably another boy. Which is fine by me, I have the boy thing down pat!

With our DS we both KNEW it was a boy all along and it was!

This time I honestly don't know what it is.. My DH thought probably another boy from the beginning, but I didn't have that for sure feeling like last time. However I've been a lot sicker this time and now he's leaning towards girl. I really have no idea but we will find out Christmas morning :

DH and I both have felt it was a girl since finding out. DH says he can close his eyes and see a big butterfly in the nursery. We find out Jan 14.

Ive felt all along it was a girl. DH wants a boy so bad, but also feels like its a girl. I really dont have a preference at this point. We'll know a week from Friday hopefully!!!

In the very beginning, I was sure it was a girl. But now I am leaning more towards a boy as is DH. Frankly I will be happy with either though I think my MIL will freak out if SIL and I both have boys. Stick out tongue

My gut feeling for this baby was a girl. However, if I look at the ultrasound of my son and this baby, they are both in the same position. Also the heartbeats are very similar, so I am thinking I will probably be a mommy of boys. This will more than likely be our last child. I'll find out at the end of January!

I've been feeling like the baby is going to be a girl. The Chinese gender chart, and the ultrasound techs early guess both agree with me. So we will see.. I won't find out until Jan. 24 though. It feels like such a long wait.

With my DS#1, I knew the moment I peed on a stick that he'd be a boy, and there was never any doubt in my mind. This time, I was certain very early on that we're having a boy, and my husband thinks boy, too. But, for the past week, I've been drawn to girly items and I feel like we have a little girl on the way, and I feel awkward when I refer to the baby as "he"... My husband says he gets no "girl vibes" from my belly, so he's sticking with boy. I can't wait to find out which of us has stronger intuition - our anatomy scan is going to be on January 14th!

All of my girlfriends say it's a boy -- they have zero to base this on, but they just have a gut feeling. My DH thinks it's a boy too, no explanation why. (I think it's because he really wants a little man in the house) The gender chart and the Chinese pencil tests both said boy, too, but with my luck, it'll be a girl, after all this fuss about a boy.

I have no gut feeling. If I had to guess based on my symptoms, I'd day another girl, just because the nausea has been almost as miserable. But other things are different, so I dunno.

I'm in the waiting room at our NT scan and hoping to get a good dangle hot, lol.

LOL... I mentioned to DH the other day that I was excited that we MIGHT be able to find out on Jan 2nd when they're checking on my placenta previa... and he said "oh, come on, we both know it's a girl anyway." Oh really!

I HAVE had a feeling it's a girl, but I didn't know DH felt the same way!

This is my first, and I've got a strong feeling its a boy. Pretty much everyone in my life thinks boy too. We don't care either way, but we'll all be shocked if it's a girl!

I have no idea. I haven't had a feeling either way. My doctor waits until 19 weeks for the anatomy scan, so we will find out the third week of January or so. My husband won't come out and say it, but he wants a boy. He already refers to the baby as "he", but of course we will be thrilled with either!

I feel the same way! I was beginning to think I was a bad mom already for lack of "intuition" We will find out Jan 3rd. DH keeps referring to it as a boy as well. We will see!

I thought girl for the first few weeks of my pregnancy but now, I've started having dreams about this baby and in everyone, it's always a boy. I know they're just dreams but I just can't get the feeling that we're having a boy out of my head.

DD1 told me yesterday it's a boy because she already has a baby sister.

DH thinks it's a boy also. He had a dream that the baby was a boy and he grew up to look like my uncle (not a bad thing). Although I think he has a bit of wishful thinking.

Since we have 2 girls, I tend to assume it's a girl until proven otherwise.

In the beginning I was convinced I was having a boy...had very strong feelings but they faded away into no gender feelings. The chinese gender chart says boy but every other old wives tale including the ring test and baking soda test says girl. DH refuses to guess. I am hoping to find out at my next apt on Dec 22nd.

I'd like a girl but I have a feeling it's another boy, even though this pregnancy is pretty different than my first. Either way I'll be happy, of course, but I'm done after this one and I always pictured myself with a daughter...

This EXACTLY! This pregnancy is so identical to the last one, that I can't imagine it is not a girl. I'll be totally happy with another girl though!
