I've been trying to figure out baby wearing. I bought the beco butterfly 2 to start out. My 9 lber was too big for the infant insert, but she's too small for the carrier. So I bought a Moby and an Infantino Mei Tai. She doesn't like either. I planned on keeping the Moby because it's cream colored and living in Florida the black Mei tai isn't going to work. It's too hot even in December.
Getting to the point, I try to put her in there when she has just nursed and is calm and happy. As soon as I get her in there she starts to cry. I thought she was supposed to love baby wearing :
Any help?
Re: Infant hates Moby
Send it to me!!
In all reality though, my LO hated the normal infant snug hold. So I went onto youtube and found all different kinds of holds and tried them one at a time. We found one she loves, and now I have two Mobys, and I adore them.
I tried using it in the house tonight where the a/c has the temp at 75. And she couldn't have gotten hot in 2 minutes? I didn't realize it was a hot carrier though. Are there any better options out there for us to use now? I still have the receipt for the moby and have no qualms at returning it if it won't work for us.
Thanks. I will research. Any particular one that works well for you?
This.
my daughter hated the moby too when she was young.
i think i wore it about twice, long enough to walk to the mailbox and back.
it was spring/summer and the moby gets so hot.
she (and i) we much happier with the ring sling.
(i'm hanging onto the moby, as i plan to have baby #2 in the next 2-3 years. maybe that one will like it?)
