BRU drop-in bottles and components

Anyone use any components of the BRU drop-ins? I still have most of the bottles from DD and DS, just wondering if the nipples and bottles are at all comparable? I don't particularly like generic drop-in liners because other than the playtex brand they all seem to smell like plastic/chemicals, but I'm thinking if the outer bottle is basically the same and fits, and the nipples fit the same, I might as well save the few bucks.

    I have both BRU dropins, bottles, and nipples and we have no problem mixing and matching with the playtex bottles.  Good luck, we have no issues with any of it.

    We've only used the playtex bottles and such, but I did try a few offbrands (Target, BRU) of the liners and agree that the playtex liners are much better  I will say though, that I don't know how you have bottles last through 2 babies!  DS has been using them at daycare for 9 months and I think we're going to have to throw them away and start over next time. 

    The 4oz bottles we barely used... My kids were big babies and started eating more at a time fewer feedings a day earlier on.  I had drop ins for DD, but she mostly used Dr Browns because of spit up issues, so it's not really fair to say I used them with two, haha. Also we had a few girlie prints we didn't use at all for DS that this baby will have, and I SAH so there isn't a ton of wear and tear.
