We haven't ever really used them before, but we are wanting to start so we can have some post-baby sex.

I stood at WalMart today and basically went "uhhhhhh" for a long while before I turned and walked away. I'm too tired and brain-fried to figure out what I'm doing.

So. Tell me about your brand.

Durex Avanti. They are latex free, which is important for me because I am allergic. There are just places on my body where I don't need rashes, hives and swelling blisters.
Anyways, they are also great because they are not smelly and a bit more robust. They are also on the larger side.

We use the Trojan ecstasy ultra ribbed. DH likes that the tip of these have alittle more room, better lube and feel. Condoms have worked well for us when we use them. We stopped using them everytime and tested fate which lead to a slight surprise pregnancy, hints Evelyn's arrival.

We've always used Trojan. We've tried a few kinds and currently have ones in a yellow box. I think they're just ribbed ones with spermicide and are lubricated.

Duress SensiThin. DH and I both like them the best and settled on those as our brand after trying it a few different ones. They are nice and smooth [i find ribbed ones irritating] and give good sensation.

I *think* we use Lifestyles? We use the polyeurithane (sp?) kind. They're a little thinner so it feels a little more realistic. I want to try the sheepskin kind but they are so freaking expensive.

I did the same thing you did when we were cleared by OB for post baby sex. It took me 15 min to figure out what to get.

I got a small box of the basic Trojans, knowing I planned on getting the Mirena as soon as my OB was willing to put it in.

Seeing as I'm on my second pp period and first after Mirena insertion, they did the trick.

Sheepskin are NOT worth the money, don't do it! They smell horrible! Way to kill the mood. Honest, they are terrible.

Look online for One Condoms. Best ever, has NEVER broken for us, cool options, and has awesome packaging.
They used to carry them in CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. Not so much anymore.

I'm allergic too. We use these or Trojan Supra. Both are made from polyurethane instead of latex (though apparently the Avanti are made both ways, so check if it matters to you) and it is thinner and transfers heat better. I've had sex with latex condoms as well (didn't develop an allergy until my late 20s) and polyurethane is much better IMO.

We use basic Trojans. I think it comes in a gray/silver package. I don't like anything ribbed or lumpy or anything because it feels awful to me. We got Astroglide to go with because things are still a little dry and uncomfortable and the last thing I need is extra friction.

They can be tricky to pick out. When DH and I first met he ordered his on-line in bulk haha...it was much cheaper. Well after we got engaged for some reason we never used them but we were careful. He ordered the wrong size so we had to get the "magnums" which are Trojan's larger size condoms. I went to Walmart a while back and picked some up. Went home and wrapped them all pretty and told DH it was a gift from Bennett. When he opened he laughed. I told him Bennett wanted to get these for you because he didn't want any siblings just yet! ;P

We go with Trojan magnum. Haven't really tried others and BTW don't get the KY "Yours and Mine" lube it sucks!
