I don't necessarily know that I'm not producing as well, I guess it just *feels* like I'm not. I've been trying to pump at least once a day after DD eats, too, just in case she's not eating as well since she's sick, too. But because I haven't been pumping, it feels like I'm getting less than I was when I was. Of course I had an oversupply then, but I still can't help but worry. Any other mamas have experience with this?
Re: BFing mamas: supply compromised when sick?
I tend to think my supply dips when I'm sick, but it's probably because I don't drink enough water when I don't feel good.
We had an oversupply also, and had to work on regulating it because of a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. To be honest, part of me was sad to give up the security blanket of tons of extra milk. We still have extra, just not quite as much - and (I keep reminding myself) that's not a bad thing.
To sum up, I'm sure your supply is fine but I totally understand the feeling.

Thanks, all. And I only go into the office on Thursdays, so every other day we're nursing on demand. It's just so hard not to get scared I'm going to do something to decimate my supply.
