I don't know what we'll do, but there is a rule for postal workers that they are not supposed to accept gifts over 'X' amount. I think it might be 15, but I can't remember for sure...

What they do and are supposed to do are 2 different things I am sure. lol I can't imagine our mail lady ringing the bell and returning 10 bucks...or any mail person for that matter...I know I wouldn't. hehe But, thanks for the info.
Down here we put stuff like baked pies in the mail box. We are so southern lol
LOL we have a wall mailbox, so I don't think a pie would survive it! Plus, these NE'er want cold hard cash. haha
Ha!!! You could leave those cake pops in there! Lol
LOL I was thinking of that, but I think they would throw them in the trash. NE'er aren't as appreciative of those things than other places. Totally spoiled!

Speak for yourself - I'd love to find a pie or cake pops in my mailbox, lol.
I have a S/O question about tipping. We've never done it, but I really want to tip the garbage men - they are so nice to DS b/c he waits in the window when he hears the truck coming & he waves. The guys always wave really big & honk the horn for him - it's the cutest thing. Anyway, do I just run out & give them am tip? Do I leave it on top of the garbage cans?

I would just run out and give it to them. I don't know how they do it there, but here the guys just drive by and pick the can up with the truck. If there was a tip on it, it would go in the trash.

Re: NTR: X-mas tipping?
haha! I'm just imagining a mailman walking his route carrying a stack of pies.
totally. We leave homemade cookies out for both the mailman and refuse collector.
