is anyone using a food mill?

in Babies: 6 - 9 Months
One of my co-workers says she swore by her food mill when it came to preparing meats for her baby because the blender didn't do a good job. I am planning to start meats soon for DD and curious to hear what others are doing? TIA

    I use a food mill for chicken.  It grinds it up well, but takes forever if you are doing a whole batch.  It mixes well with his oatmeal.

    I did minced and shredded meats. The thought of pureed meat makes my stomach turn.
