Trying to Get Pregnant

Drink til its pink?

So would you ride roller coasters until its pink too? I'll be around 12-14dpo.

Just curious because there is not a lot of info on this topic. I've googled until I can't google it anymore. TIA!

     So true! Smile

  • I would. You can't live your life like you can't move or really live. What if it takes a while; years or so? You can't not do the things you love. IMO.

  • First, let me say, I love roller coasters!  They say there is only a 20% chance of getting pregnant each cycle.  That said, if I were you, I would probably POAS the morning before going to the amusement park and then if I got a BFN, ride whatever you want.  However, I'm more of a better safe than sorry kinda gal, so I don't know if I'd personally do what I'm telling you to do.  Have fun.

  • When I was in that same situation, I POAS just to ease my mind.  I figured if it was a BFP, I would be so happy that I wouldn't care about missing the roller coasters.  It was a BFN and my period showed up during the trip, so it was a nice way to take my mind off things.  Of course, it was early, so theoretically, I could've still ended up pg, but it still made me feel better.
***************************** Our beautiful daughter was born in October 2009. Turns out she was quite the miracle. After two years of TTC, diagnosed with DOR. A couple of failed treatment cycles later, we decided to let go of our hope for more biological children and explore adoption.

I thought about POAS 10dpo but then it would be too late to cancel the trip so I'm just going to wait until I get back home and then POAS. So hopefully I will get a great trip and a BFP for my birthday. Stick out tongue The 20% really sucks especially considering I'm on cycle 8. Hopefully eight is great!

Yeah, on 2nd thought, I agree.  Can't stop living you life for what might be.. the odds of getting pregnant just aren't great enough for that.  Have fun and POAS after the trip.

  • Yes. I didn't know I was pg until I was 6 weeks. Of course I drank, rode rollercoasters, rolled down a hill (wait, that'a another story)
