  I usually just leave the diaper bag in the car....

  Either hanging off the chair in the dining room or hanging off the kitchen door. If company comes over I put them in the bedroom.

  Diaper bag I leave in the car and then just refill it periodically

  we have a mud room bench & the diaper bag generally lives there. My work bag goes on a counter that is sort of a bar/butler's pantry type thing close to the door to the garage- I hate it being on the counter but I like it out of reach of the kids & near my entrance/exit.

  Ha - I keep all my purses/bags on the counter in the laundry room, too.  It's right next to our door that leads to the garage, and it's close to DD's room if I need to put her stuff in it.  I like it because it's out of the way and I don't have to clean them up if we have people over.
