F/U: Is this normal flu shot reaction?

I took DS to the doctor today because he's had a fever since Thursday when he got the flu shot booster. She said it was probably just a coincidence that they coincided--it's just a virus. I told her DD started a fever last night and she looked her over just to be sure and her tonsils are all pus-y! I feel like a bad mom that I didn't even think to check that.

Anyway, the strep test came back negative, so we have to wait and see if she's still feverish by Thursday. If she is, she'll go back for another strep swab (which she HATED) and if it comes back negative again, they need to do a blood test for mono. My three-year-old might have mono!? I highly doubt it, because she's not sleeping all the time like I did when I had it in college, but you never know, I guess. I'm just so afraid she's going to give whatever she has to Jon Daniel!
