What a morning! (NTR)
There was a bad 7 car accident this morning that shut down all 3 lanes of interstate 1/2 mile from my exit for work. So after sitting in my turned off car from 730- 1030 in 31 degree weather and needing to eat, potty, and get liquid- my mom called the cops LOL The police escorted me through as far as they could, walked me through the accident scene, loaded me into an ambulance on the other side and took me to the truck stop by work, where I got to potty finally and... my boss rescued me and got me to work. I'm so happy to be warm, safe and near a potty! They finally reopened it around noon. So thankful for all the people who rescued me. What a morning. I'm so sorry for the loss of the lives in the accident 
I'm totally against special treatment but this morning I was pretty darn grateful for it. 7 mos pregnant, having to pee for 3 hours, 31 degrees, no food... rough morning. I'm so embarrassed still but turns out they actually do consider a pregnant woman having to pee to be a bit of an emergency as the toxicity of urine could hurt the baby if it builds up. Not to mention my blood sugar was dropping and my blood pressure was rising. Mortified or not... I'm glad they saved me

oh, wow, glad you got rescued!
You are making me recall a similar situation when it took me nearly 4 hrs to get home from work at 8 months pg b/c of an accident. I should have totally called for reinforcements!
OMG you poor woman. I was getting some serious braxton hicks I had to go so bad. I'm one of those bad pregnant ladies that drinks a cup of coffee in the morning.... I always leave my house at 630, drink my coffee while driving, drop off toddler, get to work around 730 and hit the potty. So the accident at 730 was my potty time anyways so 3 hours in of waiting and 4 hours total of holding it, I was trying to find stuff in my car to pee on lol I was so embarrassed my mom called the cops but man am I glad she did... especially so I could blame her for them being there LOL

How'd you get your car back?
BFP #2 5/27/12. EDD 2/1/13. m/c and D&C 6/21/12.
Once the interstate was opened back up my co worker took me to my car and I headed back to work. Kinda scary hopping in a car when the traffic is flowing lol
