3 Day Potty Training and Naps?

I haven't done a ton of research yet about the 3 day potty training method but from what I have read they are naked from the waist down all day long.  So what do you do about nap time.  Is it ok to put them in a diaper for nap time and then for bedtime?  I assume that is what most people do.

    We didn't do naked. We switched from diapers straight to underwear that way she learned that underwear doesn't contain pee like a diaper. We didn't do diapers at naptime (I personally think that even having diapers would just confuse them), she wore panties. The first three days I tried putting her to bed in panties but after peeing the bed and not waking up when she did, I didn't like her sleeping in her pee all night. So DD wears pull-ups at bedtime. We call them night time panties.

    I'm getting up the courage to night train soon.
