Blah, awful day

Lauren got 3 shots today and then had to get her blood drawn, which always takes forever. She's been fussy all day and cried so hard that my older kiddo wouldn't take a nap. Plus DH has class tonight so he won't even be home until around 8pm.

I need a break. And wine.

    My day just got awesome.

    Lauren's blood draw today was to heck for signs of leukemia since its more common in kids with Down syndrome. The pediatrician herself just called me at home to let me know that everything looks perfect and her results were all normal. Hallelujah!!!

    Yay for good results!! But one kid keeping another up from nap is no good. I hope tgey go to bed easily tonight and you get some wine!!

    Yay! I'm sorry the shots and blood work were rough, but the peace of mind you got with the good news should outweigh that!
