What are you getting DCP for Christmas?

M goes three-four days a week to an in-home DCP.
I just ordered a $50 gift card to a spa for a massage (or she could put it towards mani/pedi/hair/etc.) I know she frequents this spa and really enjoys going there. I was thinking about including a picture from M's two year photo session. Would you?

On a side note, I've been disappointed in our DC parents the last couple years. Not because we didn't get gifts but because we don't even get a card saying thank you. Don't get me wrong, the gifts are nice but thank you goes a long way.
I can't even conceive why someone wouldn't do SOMETHING for their DCP for the holidays, even if it's just a card. Our DCP is a LIFE-SAVER! We trust her with the most valuable thing in our lives on a daily basis, and to me, that's more important than shopping for certain family and friends!
ha! You'd be surprised how thoughtless people can be. This morning the parent that drops off the baby I nanny told me they are going on a 2 week vacation in January, not paying me and oh BTW can I work on Jan1st since they aren't leaving till the next day? Its a federal holiday and he wasn't even willing to pay me any extra to work. I'm not expecting a holiday thank you note from those A-holes.

I have no idea what to do this year. He has two teachers in the morning, then had four more during the day, but they moved him up to a different classroom this week and now he has a new teacher (who I love!) There are a few floaters in and out of all the rooms too. I think I may just offer to buy them all pizza for lunch one day since there are so many of them.
