When did your DC start sitting up?

Not like you sit them up and they can stay sitting, but when they actually pulled themselves into a sitting position on their own.

K is 7 months and we're still waiting. Right now he will just sort of hang out on his side, like in a centerfold pose. It's hilarious.

do you mean from their back or from their belly . . DD could go from belly to sitting and back down at 8 months . . from back . . no yet.

We have been doing the side thing for a month now. She can get 3/4 of the way up and if I put a finger out that she can grab she'll get all the way up. So, *almost*.

He was 8.5 months before he sat on his own. He did that side-pose as well, LOL. I was getting nervous because so many Nesties have said that their DC sat up at 5 or 6 months. So glad he finally did it!
