My son is about to turn 6 months old. Please recommend some of your favorite toys appropriate for age 6-12 months. I thought about some stacking toys, maybe an activity table. Not sure what would be best! Thanks!!
Things my LOs have loved as they headed towards 12 months: stacking cups, musical toys, bath books, these sea shape things that stick to the bath/shower wall and LO can take off and put on, a walker.
Our walker is a wooden trolley, that has a tray at the bottom that holds a collection of building blocks. It's been a great toy. The girls play with it regularly, and how they play with it is constantly changing as they develop: learning to walk, stacking blocks, carting dolls around in it, pushing your little sister around in it, sorting the blocks and shapes, standing on it like it's a chariot.
I agree with PP's that suggested a walker and an activity table. My DD also likes her V-Tech Zoo, FP barn, and she's really into any kind of ball right now. She likes to play catch together.

Honestly, DD2 loved these cheap collapsable measuring cups a friend bought at the supermarket. They were silicone, about $5, and we would leave them in the fridge, get them cold, and she could gnaw on them. She loved them. That and the plastic laundry basket. Regular toys, meh, two minutes and bored.
