Pregnant after 35

**Petra**

Are you going to change your siggy photo/meme to show your baby's U/S with some lovely sarcastic statement to the bumpkin who told you "to just adopt already?" Maybe even photoshop the babe flipping the "camera" the bird?

I think that would be awesome.

Re: **Petra**

  • Well clearly you have labile HTN because you're an obese 40+ year old who's been jumping through hoops and crying into your cupcake. Stick out tongue

If you're not working, then you have all that time to come up with a new siggy photo...  Just saying.

Don't tempt me. Stick out tongue

I'm just trying to hold an even keel right. I've recently been moved to High Risk for an unexpected 2nd tri BP issue (labile hypertension), so I'm adjusting to HBP meds and while I'm not on bed rest yet, I am no longer working.

But, I'm 17 weeks today, my a/s is friday next, and I'm almost big enough to warrant a BPF picture. And, most importantly, I'm still here.

oh, no. I had no idea. FX you don't need bed rest. i will be praying for you!

& You are in you second tri!! This rocks~

I am in the same category. They would not really call me pre-e since it was 17 weeks and not 20 when my BP started to rise.  They keep telling me that bed rest is next but I have been able to hold off on that and have been able to continue to work.  I am not taking any meds.  Hopefully you will follow my lead and it will be inconvenient but no big deal.
