Our ER visit, not over?

C had a few tears over the weekend, which we assumed to be teething-related. Yesterday evening, I gave him some Advil and he shortly thereafter burst into tears again, complaining about his foot. I pulled off his sock and his foot was bright red and somewhat swollen. We headed to the ER where he was a champ through a blood draw and xray and many hours of waiting. The concern is for osteomyletis (bone infection) though it did not show up last night. We have a follow-up for maybe more bloodwork on Tuesday. If you could please send up some T&Ps for him, we'd be grateful. The condition would involve many weeks of antibiotics, some in the hospital, and I'm just scared for my baby.

Oh no! I wonder what it could be. Glad the labs came back normal, but it's hard not having an explanation.
