An electric bass (he's a guitar player but he loves all instruments and does his own recording, he mentioned a bass earlier this year)
An upgradable tube microphone
Tickets to Mozart's The Magic Flute stuffed in his stocking with fruit, nuts and chocolate
A yoga series at the local Iyengar center
and, if I can afford more, a few vintage tee shirts
We decided not to do Xmas gifts this year... In all honesty we dont need anything for ourselves. Still need to buy some baby items, and plan to take a vacation in the Spring or Summer.. would rather spend money on that then something we really dont need just for the sake of Xmas..
And no, we are not GRINCHES!!! I love Xmas.. lol
We aren't exchanging gifts either. We spend all year buying the stuff that we want so we don't really need anything...plus...we still have stuff to get ready for baby.
I hit up the outlets Black Friday and got him a lot of nice clothes, a pasta maker, a Global knife for his collection and cookbooks. Also found Bond 50 collection (22 disc Blu Ray collectors set) for $99 on Amazon instead of the usual price of $300.
I mayyyy have found one gift he bought me while I was cleaning - it was in a Tiffany's box! Not sneaking if I found it by accident right?
So far I've only gotten him a Michigan State jacket (it was originally $100 and I got it for like $45 yea!! lol) and a tree stand. I got him a crossbow last year so this year I'm gonna try to find him a new gun. And then probably just a couple new shirts or something. And today I realized that I only have 2 weeks to get this stuff, crazy!!

The last several years we haven't gotten gifts for each other. We use the money we'd spend for Operation Christmas Child boxes and donations to several other organizations we support.
The same is true this year, except I broke the rules and ordered him a 2013 wall calendar from Shutterfly for his office. I had a coupon for a free one so I just paid $6 in shipping for it. Plus, I thought it'd be a neat way to document our last year before our son arrives. I used all our favorite pictures from 2012 to sum up the year. I think he'll like it.
Ha! Your responses make mine sound so juvenile....he he he!!!! I got him Call of duty black ops 2 ,( video game) the zombie survival guide ( book) the updated marvel comics encyclopedia ( big book) tee shirt that reads call me big papa, and jeans.... My love is 34 years old lol:)
i don't know what to put in his stocking yet.....
This is our first Christmas spending with each other. (he has been deployed 3 of the 5 years we have been together) we also just move and we got rid of all our furniture so for "big gifts" we got a bedroom set, living room set, dining room table, pots and pans, bedding set, kuraig coffee maker. We kinda went all out on stuff we need for the house. But I also got him a drill bit set, wrench set, a bowl that holds screws and stuff so they don't get lost while he is taking stuff apart, pants and shirts, sweater, socks, undershirts, pjs, a turkey deep fryer and some random stocking stuffers. He went shopping for me and I know he spent way more on me so now I'm debating getting him a couple more things.
His birthday was Saturday so some of the stuff I got him he got for his birthday so now I feel like its not a lot of stuff. He has been wanting a rifle for hunting so I think I will let him get that and put it under the tree. We have spent way to much this year.. Lol

I got him a Keurig coffee maker, some coffee, Christmas Vacation on Blu Ray, a PS3 game and I'll probably also grab him a casual shirt. The game and movie will be from the boys, and the rest from me.
For his stocking, I'll probably grab some chapstick (he likes flavored ones), his favorite candy bar (PB Snickers), some gum, instant lottery tickets, and those febreeze air fresheners for your car (those are nice!).

We're also going on an anniversary trip/babymoon this weekend, so Christmas is a bit light for us.
Absolutely no idea! Every time he mentions something he would like, and I make a note of it for a gift... the sh*t goes out and buys it himself! GAHHHH!
A few days ago, someone posted about making her DH/SO a "Daddy Diaper Bag" kit, and I was going to do that but the Green Bay Packer's site has just run out of the Packers Diaper Bag. Boo hiss. Back to square one for me!
We decided this year to get a "joint gift," something we both have been wanting together. We bought a KitchenAid stand mixer last week, but my husband insists we wait until after Christmas to use it. LOL.
We are also getting each other small gifts...he is a runner and runs a relay in Oregon this summer that doesn't allow headphones on the racecourse, so I got him this sweet running vest that is reflective and has speakers built in to the shoulder reflectors so he can still listen to his music while he runs. :-)
