When you receive birthday cards in the mail, do you call the person that sent it and thank them for them card? The reason I am asking: my sister called me parents and "told" on me because I didn't thank her for sending a card. Now I am feeling rude....
Re: NBR: Etiquette Question
No, but I make sure that I send them a birthday card. Or, if I happen to be talking to them on the phone I will mention receiving the card.
It's your birthday, no one held a gun to your sister's head to send you a card. She sounds very immature and self-centered.?

No, I don't call for a card. I mention it the next time I talk/see them. ?
Gifts, definitely call. ??
