I take prenatal yoga at the Carondelet YMCA. It's a good class. There's only one left this session, and then it starts again in January. It's really inexpensive if you're a member, but I don't think it's too bad if you're not a member of the Y and just pay for the class.
I'm taking a fantastic prenatal yoga class at Jane's House in St Charles. They have an evening class on Tuesdays and a morning class on Wednesdays. The payment setup is great if you if need to miss classes, too. Highly, highly recommend it. Just drop in!
Urban Breath Yoga. They actually have yoga class for pregnant women. It cost 90 dollars for 6 class sessions. My teacher was even 9 month pregnant while teaching me with this baby.
Love the place they have one place near forrest park and another someplace else. Very relaxing and teachers show you what exsactly to do and how to adjust positions if you can't do a certain move. They never expect you to strain or struggle. Great enviroment as well. Afterward sign up for the mommy and me yoga. Its yoga with your newborn. They are wonderful!
Maria Carella at Big Bend Yoga is incredible. I just finished my first 8 week class and have already signed up for the next session that starts on Jan 27. At first I thought, OMG a ninety minute class?!?! But she is an incredible instructor and teacher, and you get just more than just yoga instruction. The last 10-15 minutes of class is dedicated to talk about different ailments, concerns, pediatrician recommendations and great advice from existing moms in the class.
