So I posted earlier about SIL finding out we were going to see Santa and her trying to weasel her way into getting an invite. Well the next morning came and her son informed her that his class started at 10am, instead of later like he thought. So she didn't get to go see Santa with us. Overall it was a pretty good day! Gator got to see Santa and we did get one good picture and one of her getting upset. Then we went into the animal barn, where she proceeded to "baa!" at the sheep and "moooo!" at the mini donkey.
I managed to go to a cookie swap and cut out early to get to an auction our family was having for SO's cousin's 4 year old that is passing away. It was to help raise money for paying off some of their medical bills. I scored by bidding on 12 weeks of toddler indoor soccer for Gator and won! The auction raised around 17,000.....and they are still counting donations!
After the auction, which was held in a church, I managed to sneak a peek at the future Mrs Mrs.....one of the first gay couples to legally wed in our state! They got married at midnight last night, which made me happy that my vote went towards fulfilling their dream of getting married...they looked so happy!
Anyway, here is Gator waiting to see Santa and then a pic of her and Santa!

ETA: Also wanted to add how great it is that the auction raised so much money. It's a sad occasion that warrants it but not having so many money woes will help your SO's cuz's grieving process when the inevitable happens.
