What are the rules regarding drinking and breastfeeding? Do I HAVE to pump and dump if I have had an alcoholic drink, or can I skip the pumping/dumping part and just wait for a few hours before breastfeeding? If yes I can skip the pumping/dumping altogether, how many hours do I have to wait before its safe to breastfeed again? TIA!

I follow this. Also alcohol processes through milk, like blood, approx one drink per hour. Some people say to them wait two hours. But if I have a glass of wine I have no issues nursing an hour later. I never have more than one or two bc you still have to take care of LO, so it's usually not a big deal. I've never pumped and dumped.
