I just read about this and wanted to pass it along.... With the caveat that it wasn't around for my son, I didn't try it, I'm not a medical provider, and I've only read a little about it.... But there is a new paci that teaches Preemes to suck, swallow, breath! It plays a melody when they get it right and they "say" it can cut the stay down by as many as 5 days!nbsp;nbsp;Powersdt.comnbsp;Im on an iPad so I can't make it clicky. I know personally how frustrating it can be when feeding is all that's left before your miracle can come home and every feeding feels like a test so anything that can help right? Apparently some nicus are using them already. Has anyone seen one? Hope they can help someone! nbsp;

Eta it looks like something a hospital would have to buy and not you individually... But it might be worth asking the drs in case they can look into it or if insurance would cover it or something. Don't want to get hopes up that its something you can get on amazon or something.
