Going 40mph

Starting today I became REALLY sensitive to DH driving 40 mph or more. It made me slightly nauseous 5 times when we were running around and each time it was right at the 40 mph.

I only had something like this a handful of times in my 1st trimester, so it makes we wonder what is changing/if labor is coming sooner than my 2 more week EDD.

Re: Going 40mph

  • Probably not. My car sickness has gotten worse in the last few weeks. It's just pregnancy stuff TBH. Things like morning sickness and stuff come and go. However, it could be a hormone switch in your body. Which can trigget certain things to happen. This does not mean that labor is soon. Just that your body is preparing for it.

  • No, sorry. I was carsick a lot last pregnancy. The longer the trip, the worse it was.

Driving the car helped me. As a passenger, I got sick every time. Driving 1hr one-way to work didn't bug me a bit. Plus, the driver's seat is more adjustable with the 5-way controls, so I'm more comfortable there anyway. Maybe try that?
