Babys R Us

Has anyone else had trouble using their Babys R Us completion code online?  I have been trying to use it for 2 weeks now and it never works.. I've typed in what's highlighted as the online code..  and what's under the bar code..  Both keep getting denied.. I've e-mailed the help desk and haven't had a response and  I've called the 1800 and been on hold 10+ minutes each time (3 times probably)  and never gotten a human before having to hang up for some reason (bathroom, other phone call, etc).  The closest babys r us is  a half an hour away,  and most of the stuff I want is online purchases anyway.   I'm due  in 9 days and dont really want to have to trek all the way out there  to do the shopping anyway.

  • My completion code wouldn't work online as well. So I called and waited a half hour before someone answered and she told me they had to manually insert the coupon because something was wrong with the website. This was during cyber Monday though.

  • So did you have to place the whole order on the phone, Or did you have to place it and they reimburse you?

  • The cashier at BRU screwed me out of my completion code and used it on one qualifying purchase instead of a 20% coupon that I had. She reimbursed me the refund but my completion code is no longer valid. I tried calling customer service and they said they would follow up with me in a few days, but that was about 2 weeks ago and nothing.

    Just another reason why I really hate that store.

  • I had to place the order on the phone. Just have the item numbers handy and it won't take long at all. It was the only way they could manually add in the discount for me.
  • I'm always amazed at how terrible their registry system is. The apps don't work, and several times I've tried to add things to my registry online and they end up registering me for the wrong color or something. I haven't tried my completion code yet but good to know that that's a pain in the butt too!
  • I had to call as well... The customer service lady figured out the amount i would save based on what was in my cart, and then gave me a separate code for that amount of money.  Pain in the a**.
