6-month shots rough on your LO too?

My son had his 6-month appt and shots on late Friday afternoon. He was fine afterwards and went to bed at his normal time, and slept normally at night as well.  All day yesterday he was super fussy and clingy and had a low grade fever.  He took two big naps.  I gave him tylenol 2 times yesterday, once during the day and once before bed.  Last night he slept TERRIBLY, up every hour (normally only up 1-1 times).  This morning of course crabby again, maybe more due to sleep issues last night.  Since he was very healthy at his appt on Friday I am assuming this is all due to the shots. Never had this kind of reaction the last two times with shots. Nurse said totally normal. Poor buddy!  How was your 6-month shots experience?

    This exact thing happened to my LO after both of her flu shots! I'm thinking the shots just taxed her little immune system too much and she came down with something else.

    We had a similar reaction, but then two days after her shots she got her first two teeth, so I'm not positive how much was from the shots.  When we did her 9mo shots (HepB & her first flu) she had a bad reaction too, did your LO get a flu shot?  I was concerned about her getting the second flu shot but she didn't really react to it.

    Yes, it took DD a few days to normalize again.

    Yes, he did get Flu shot #1. And then three others, (1 oral and two shots in addition to the flu...can't remember exactly without the sheet in front of me which ones).  Thanks for your responses!
