I need any suggestions on diaper bags. I have no idea where to start, what brand, and what is the best. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
I haven't used it yet, but I got the JuJuBe BFF. I looked at about 9 zillion videos online. I really wanted a convertible backpack/shoulder strap option.
I have a VeraBradley baby bag (the $99 one) and I love it. It's huge and I'm finding it hard to find anything bigger (for when baby 2 arrives).
The most important things when looking for diaper bags: durability, lots of pockets, straps that are comfortable for you, and nice prints/colors if you care about that.
Another little rule of thumb: take a look at your purse. If you have a huge one and tend to fill it, you will probably do the same with your diaper bag.
I ordered a Coach one since I'm a bit of a label snob... But for my last shower my lovely friends got me a 31 organizing tote I can see me using a lot as well. And even better they got an "A" in bright pink monogrammed on it for baby's name!
I love my JuJuBe bag. Well made with lots of thoughtful details (mommy pocket, crumb drain, etc). They have tons of cute prints and different sizes depending on how much stuff you plan on carrying with you.
I agree with PP that a bag with lots of pockets is a must. The first bag I had didn't have many pockets and was mainly just a big open space, and it was very annoying to have to dig around to find something.
I registered for the skip hop studio diaper bag, in pewter. However, my friends at work threw me a small shower and got me the skip hop duo diaper bag.. Gift receipt and all. I was thinking of returning it o get the bag of my choice but it's at a low price of $41 right now... So does not make sense! Maybe DH will love it coz it's black!

I haven't used it yet, but it seems pretty roomy for one kid. If you are having multiples or already have one that still needs a few items in the diaper bag, I rec looking at it in person first.

I have a Coach that I bought cheap at an outlet before getting pregnant. I loved it. I wanted to love it as a diaper bag. I do not. It is super heavy because of the hardware before filling it with baby stuff. Afterwards, it weighs more then my kid.
I bought a Coach diaper bag from the outlet as well, and I agree it is heavy so I would recommend you buy one in person so you can test the weight empty. I don't carry a lot with me though so it works great for me, and will be a great work bag post baby-days.

Lots of pockets and it is neutral enough that DH has no problem carrying it or taking it with him if he needs to.
