Ladies who have had their Mirena removed.

I had my Mirena removed Nov. 21. I started bleeding on Nov. 24. I counted that as the start of my cycle. I've been taking OPKs the last few days (all negative), but am spotting now (waiting to see if I start really bleeding again).

What was your first cycle like right after Mirena removal? I hate this not knowing what my bodys doing. Before DD I had regular 30 day cycles with Oing around day 16 or 17.

I have not had mine removed yet...but my doc said it can take three months for the body to get back to a normal rhythm.

I had my IUD out 8 months ago.

First cycle-30 days later

Second cycle-120+ days later

Third cycle--still hasn't happened yet. I think I'm on CD 100--I lost track a long time ago.

I had mine taken out on October 31 during my last period. This month it arrived on time.

ETA: I had mine replaced with a Paraguard.

I had mine out and had bleeding for a few days after. 3 weeks later I got a full blown AF, now I'm on CD 9 I think of my first real cycle. I had read a few places that what happened to me, and what seems to be happening with you is the normal progression of things.

I had mine out 9/14, regular period 9/17, another one 28 days later, the next one only 21 days later, then a BFP (next cycle was due this comin Saturday).

Had mine removed 10/29, minor spotting for a few days. Signs of O 2 weeks later, full period 11/30-12/2. I was having no cycle while it was in, so it seems I just started at Day 1 when it was removed. Back on normal 28-30 cycle.

I think the 'norm' is return to regular cycle anywhere within 3-4 months, but some as early as right away. Depends on your body.

When I had mine out, I got my period shortly after and then had a pretty normal (something around 28 days, can't exactly remember) cycle. Then I had a 10 day one. The cycle after that I got pregnant. It's very common for it to be a bit irregular those first few months. Hang in there.

I had my mirena out November 2011, took about 4 periods to get adjusted to normal 26 day cycles. DH came home from training in May and we stopped preventing. We actively started TTC in August and I got my BFP in November. I assumed just stopping preventing and i would get pregnant, not the case. We had to actively try for a few months. I would NEVER get mirena again.

I had my Mirena removed in February 2011, a couple days later I got AF. It lasted about 7 days. I got my BFP in March 2011.

I just asked my friend this. She's no help, she got a BFP 4 weeks after removing it.
