Boys - sensitivity there

My son is circumcised and lately when he is getting a bath and I push back the skin on his shaft to clean his penis well, he says "Ouuuuch, OOOOuch" and REALLY seems to be pained by a very simple and gently touch of the washcloth.  We will be seeing our pedi for my other sons checkup next week and I plan to just briefly ask if this is normal, but it really has be concerned.

There is no inflammation or difference in appearance, so I'm not sure what is wrong and whether its just a normal "sensitivity" or really is hurting him.  Has anyone experienced something similar?

    My DS does the same thing. I haven't asked about it because DH tells me he's fine... Everything looks normal, so we think it's just a sensitivity thing. He also just hates being washed unless he's doing it himself, so who knows.

    I've never pushed the skin back on DS's - he's also circed - and was never told to do so. I'm pretty sure just the soapy water and a quick use of a washcloth is plenty. If he says ouch, then I would quit doing it.

    That was happening w ds1 and I found it was the bubble bath.   When I stopped using that kind it went away.

    I push back on DS's too, he's never said anything though. I'd have your pedi look at it, because a friend's DS was complaining of this as well and it turns out they botched his circ a little bit. A naked eye couldn't see it, but a urologist could tell and they did a very quick outpatient procedure to fix it and he's been great ever since.
