Alright, I always told myself I would take it away by 6 months, but she was teething and I felt bad, so here we sit, 9 months on?Wednesday?and she's still using her binky. Have any of you had success with just pulling it cold turkey? Is there a better method? TIA
Re: Who's successfully taken away the paci?
I just stopped giving it to him. I nursed a little more frequently for the first few days, but now he's fine without it. Sometimes I have to nurse him to comfort him but I don't mind at all
If your baby is really attached, I recommend using the "Gentle Removal Plan" found in the No Cry Sleep Solution. I'm starting to use that so Seth doesn't think he needs to nurse to go to sleep and it's working well.
