Help with baby boy names - single syllable last name

We had such a hard time coming up with DS1's name - boys names are SO hard. Our last name is...Cole. DS1 is Carter. Need a 2+ syllable first name to go w/ single syllable last name. Thoughts. Open to anything. We're trying for a name that doesn't get shortened to a nick name (ie Benjamin to Ben, Thomas to Tom, etc). Unique suggestions appreciated too!

We have a single syllable last name too. Our top choices were:
Logan (winner!), Brandon, Donovan, Cameron, Austin, Ethan and Xander

TTC #1 since May 2010. BFP #1 - 5/31/10; m/c on 7/22/10
