Okay, it's not exactly mine, I actually hate the one by my house, but I love the one by my office. The cutest, nicest little old man works there and there's usually never a line.
I purposely waited till today to do my mailing, so I could use the post office by work. I went in, and there actually were a couple people in front of me, but Little Old Postman had an assistant - another Little Old Postman! And Asst. LOP helped me find Elsa's zipcode, and gave me compliments, and thanked me for not needing insurance on the cds I'm sending to Penny and Shediva!
(BTW Penny and Shediva, if you don't get them, they're not insured, so you'll have to let me know so I can resend them)
Re: I love my post office
Our post office has a sweet old lady that's usually there. "Is there anything liquid, fragile, perishable, or potentially hazardous?" she asks every time.
Our mail man has never smiled or said hello in response to my smile or hello and frequently gives us the neighbors mail and our mail to them. He also leaves my packages out in the rain. I think the sweet old post office lady would make a much more pleasant mail carrier.
