So, since we aren't telling family until Christmas (why is it so far away?!), I've been trying my best to keep busy when I'm not working either of my two jobs. I was listening to NPR on my way to work and BBC Outlook is doing a lullaby special, and it got me thinking I really don't know many lullabies, and I probably should get to learning some. I started making a playlist for when the baby comes. Most aren't actual lullabies, just good smooth music. My favorite on the list is Sarah Harmer's "Go To Sleep."
Anyone have any other suggestions?? My music library is extensive, so unless it's completely obscure I most likely have it and can add it (even some obscure songs, I'm sure). So far my playlist is 2 hours, 43 minutes.
Re: Music!
However, my absolute favorite that we do own is a faithbased CD called Splash. It is made by Augsburg Fortress publishers. If you are open to songs with God in them, this CD is absolutely beautiful and helps me rber my baby as a true miracle, even at 3am:
