I had gone in for my 38 week appointment at 3:30 and I hadn't had any progress at all. cut to about 8pm and I'm all "uh. preeeetty sure this is labor" called midwife and I was at 45 cm. labored through a failed water tub set up water heater wouldn't cooperate for whatever resson and 6 house black outs bc of our oven gotta get THAT fixed. lol. never a dull moment eh?
Wesley Daniel was born at just before 5am with 16 minutes of pushing. this birth was thankfully easier than Ds1's so second time moms, take heart. it could be "easier"!
no tears at all and it's probably due to birthing position. all fours. it's the
best way to push bc it follows your body's alignment. good to know!!
off to catch up with everyone. I'll post a picture when I get to a computer.

the pushing felt really satisfying that way compared to laying down. I recommend it.
