We have a Sundvik crib and my cousin gave us her mattress for free.
According to the safety warnings on the crib the length needs to be a minimum of 51 5/8 (even though on Ikea's website it says 52 inches). Which this mattress is.
BUT it is not what I would call snug. I can shift it up or down easily and when I push it to say the bottom of the crib there is about a 1.5 inch gap at the top of the crib.
I think this is too big a gap. Am I right? Online some places say it is, others say it is fine. So I have no idea.
If you have this crib, what mattress do you use?

Re: Crib Mattress Help! Sundvik
I think I asked a similar question recently. DH and I decided its probably just best to buy an IKEA mattress, thus ensuring it fits properly.
Good Luck!
We have a Sundvik crib and we use Colgate Classica III mattress. There is a small gap at the short end, but once we put on one layer of mattress pad cover, then the crib mattress, it ends up being fairly snug and I can't put 2 fingers through the gap.
