This is a 2 part post...
Firstly, my boobs have been leaking a clear watery fluid for the past couple of days. From what I've heard/read..it's possible to start making colostrum about half way through pregnancy and it starts of pretty much as clear water. This said, I'm not really alarmed..more just curious if this is happening for anyone else yet??
Secondly, and this IS very odd... about a month or 2 before we conceived I began lactating...not watery clear fluid or discharge...I mean straight up breast milk, that shot me in the eye when I squeezed my boob and would continue to squirt out. I WAS alarmed by this, considering I wasn't even pregnant at the time. I went to my doctor and OB and they couldn't really explain it. They checked my pituitary gland to make sure I didn't have any tumors or issues...my prolactin levels were completely normal, and it was happening with both of them. SO weird. Although my OB tried to reassure me and say that it was probably "just stress and it would go away on it's own" it was the single weirdest thing that has happened to me. Mostly because it was actual breast milk and not just the 'few drops of fluid' that had come out at previous times in my life prior. I was really actually embarrassed about it and worried, but it did end up going away after about a month and a half...then I became pregnant! Go figure. Maybe my body was just really eager and overzealous!
Anyway....That's my weird boob story!

Re: Leaky boobies...
I haven't started leaking yet this pregnancy, but that is how it started with my first. The clear color.
Strangely enough, before I found out I was pregnant I noticed milk too and showed my husband. We thought it was weird, but just assumed it was just normal for whatever reason. My guess is it was a sign of pregnancy. I never saw it again after that one time so I'm not sure.
My right one is actually the only one that leaks...the left only if I squeeze it. Which is weird..because my left one is bigger so I would think it would be the other way around.
This time around, I'm almost waiting for the milk to start leaking out because of how they feel, and how big this are! I feel like my boobs are all eager to be ready this time around and do their job. But, I hope I don't get any leaking beforehand.
