We are 100 at a loss for boys! It took us forever for a boy name with DS! He is Landon. If DH has no says DS2 would be Beckett! He thinks its okay. We are 100 in love with two girl names so that's easier!
Our last name is very enthic sounding (German) and very long (13 letters) so names of both genders has been a little difficult! I also work as an elementary school guidance counselor and work mostly with students with problems...many names I like have been "ruined" because of current or former students I associate with those names! My top boy's name at this point is Lukas.
DS1 is Griffin Elliot. Elliot is DH's dad's middle name too.
Other boy options we had last time were: Rowen, Deacon, Preston, & Finn. Finn is obv out because it's too close to Griffin. Our last name is an animal, in plural form. Sounds weird, but it makes a lot of names a no-go for us!
We're probably going to go with Jack Gary for a boy. Jack was DH's dad, Gary is my dad. I always loved Jackson, but doesn't work with our last name We also like Cody, Wyatt and Shane.

I'm a teacher and know exactly what you mean about names being "ruined." It stinks!
I love the name Logan, always have, but my DH's arch enemy from HS had that name. Other than that, I'm out. We have to have Richard as a middle name (family tradition) but it's so hard to find a name that I like that flows.

We've had a similar problem with names, as my husband and I are both teachers so certain names are associated with certain students you would rather not name your child after...
With that in mind I spent a few days literally going through every name on babynames.com and here is our boys list at the moment:
DH and I have stepped away from boy names he loves one name and I love another and we just can't agree. We have narrowed down girls names, so now it is just a matter of finding the one, and hopfully we won't have to run through boys names again cause i think we are just out of names we can both agree on.

Our names may change still. DH has an uncle that he's very close to, so if it's a boy he will most likely be Timothy Joseph (after uncle and my grandpa). I also love Andrew, Nathan, and Samuel.
If we have a girl we're going with Elise Jane.

Boys are so easy for us. When we found out we were pregnant with our first baby, we had lists and lists of girls names but only 2 boys names. First son is Samuel Grey and if this baby is another boy his name will be Ari Rhodes.
We have three girls names that we will just choose from at birth.
I am 99% sure if we have a baby it will be Henry Joseph. DH and I have basically agreed, unless I find/think of another name that we absolutely fall in love with.
After 1.5 years TTC, IUI #2= BFP 12/2/12
"And the dream that you dare to dream really do come true"
Mh wont even let us talk about names until we find out what we are having but we talked about them before we had our daughter. The two names he likes are frank and jerry. I told him sorry both of those names are out. I like henry, caleb and adam is mh middle name so I think that would be nice. We will most likly do what we did with our dd and write down names we can both live with and go from there
Our top contender right now is William, Liam for short - it's FIL and BIL's name, and BIL will almost certainly never have children (he's 42, and a confirmed bachelor).
I also love:
Charles/Charlie Nicholas James Benjamin Oliver Henry/Harry, but it sounds funny with our last name Jack Joseph/Joe Alexander

BFP #2 - Due August 16!
Well, since I've claimed all naming right for any and all future children, due to my DS' first name being Donald, which is FIL and DH's first names as well, the boy name I've picked out is Lincoln Albert. Lincoln was actually a contender for DS back in 2008, and I still love it.
We've only had girls so we are running out of those but weve had John Francis chosen since we were pregnant with our first (who's now 6.5 yrs). We would call him Jack. Francis is DH's grandfather.

My DH and I love the name Hudson. We also like Logan. I like Parker, Carter, and Palmer but they don't go with our last name. For a girl we like Anslee and Marley.

My pick for a boy is Leo Nicholas. After having two boys, I am completely spent on boy names that I like, with the exception of Leo. I'm not going to discuss names with DH for quite some time though, he needs some time to deal with the whole "surprise, we're pregnant" issue.

if we have a boy it will be "Martin"
We have not decided on a girl name.
When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.
Baby Boy M - 08/01/2013
Expecting Baby Bean February 2017
I love the name Jake but DH isn't a fan. We both agreed on Owen.
For a boy, we like Wesley.
Partially due to my love for The Princess Bride (Westley). Promise we won't name our daughter Buttercup though.
I'm a teacher and know exactly what you mean about names being "ruined." It stinks!

The only "tennant" I can think of is David Tennant....Doctor who fans?
We have three girls names that we will just choose from at birth.
Indeed
Oh that sucks
River is our girl name, still debating ont he middle name.
I love traditional boy names.
Our top contender right now is William, Liam for short - it's FIL and BIL's name, and BIL will almost certainly never have children (he's 42, and a confirmed bachelor).
I also love:
Charles/Charlie
Nicholas
James
Benjamin
Oliver
Henry/Harry, but it sounds funny with our last name
Jack
Joseph/Joe
Alexander
I think our top boy names right now are as follows:
Hunter, Wyatt, Walker, Westley, Quentin, Grant, and Chase
(I love Jackson and Dylan too, but we don't think they will work as well with our last name).
So far the only name we can agree on, for both boys and girls, is Cameron.
I love Jacob, Scott, and Parker, but DH doesn't like any of those names. Boo.
My son's name is Owen and it was the only one that we agreed on.
What a cute name! :
Those are all cute names! My nephew was almost named Liam, but his name is Rylan and I love it!
DS #1 is Caleb. If #2 is a boy we are thinking Carter. If its a girl, Caitlyn.
Yeah we are doing the "C" thing.
