I'm not sure if this will make any sense, but do any of you get the sense that your family members or friends have different perspectives on how your life is about to change?
My side of the family is more about "A new person is joining the family ... What kind of person will this be?" This will be the third grandchild on my side and we have a huge family.
His family is more about "Something new is happening and there will be a new object changing how we do things". It will be the first grandchild for his family and it's a very small family.
I know it has a lot to do with family size and the dynamics, but I can't help but wonder how different the two sides of the family are treating this expectation and new little person and how it will shape my child.
I think I've been pregnant for too long and just need to stop thinking! Dang hormones!
