Hey there!  Just wanted to give you an update on my cycle using microdose lupron, since you said you wanted one.

I started MDL on the 15th and stims (Follsitim and Menopur) on the 17th, doing MDL the entire time, up through the morning of trigger.  I did start with a higher dose of stims this time, as a lesson learned from last time when my doses were raised, but otherwise everything was pretty much the same.

As you can see in my sig, my numbers looked a lot better this time: 20R, 20M, 16F (14 progressing normally at day 2).  I had 6 8-cell embies and 2 6-cells at 3 days out, and had 4-6 blasts/morulas to choose from today at 5dt.  I put back 3 blasts (1 expanded, 1 "regular", and 1 early), whereas last time I think it was 1 regular, 1 early, and 1 morula.

You can compare the details in my sig, but basically, while my retrieval and fert numbers were a lot better, the day 5 numbers were only marginally better for me.

I have beta on the 12th, so no clue how things worked this time, but just thought I'd share this in the event this is a protocol you are still considering.

    WOW! What an improvement, esp pre-day 5. Are you pleased?

    The 12th is a good day. One of my very dearest friend's birthdays, and I'll be wishing you the best of luck!

    We have our phone consult with CCRM that day, so I'll ask about MDL as an option for us.

    Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
    RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal

    Moving on to IVF.

    IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

    Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
    IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
    FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
    Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14

    After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14
    We are so in love with her.

    Overall, I have to say I'm pretty pleased, especially considering that it's been 15 months since my last IVF, and I am 3 months from 40.  At this point, my main concern is the effect my age is going to have on getting/staying pregnant at this point in the process.

    I've done everything I can to make it happen, so there's nothing more for me to do but kick back and see what happens.  Here's hoping the 12th is a good day for me.

    Wishing all the best for you with your consult and future treatment endeavors.  I'll be keeping an eye out to see how things go for you!

    One more quick update that might be useful for you.  I'm not sure if it's related to the MDL or not, but IVF #1 (non-MDL) resulted in no frosties, and I just got the call from my IVF nurse this morning that IVF #2 (with MDL) resulted in 4 frosties, all blasts (3 hatching, 1 expanded).

    So, while I'm only one example of how this protocol works, pending my beta results, I give it 2 enthusiastic Yes!

    I hope this info is useful for you and even moreso, that you have a terrific phone consult that leaves you with some great options!
