This is my 3rd also. I asked my Dr how many is the max he will do (thinking 3 or 4 would be it) and he said he just did a lady on her 8th c/s!!!! He said 10 is the max he will do. Made me feel better. I joke every time we have a baby that he just needs to add a zipper or Velcro attachment so he don't have to "cut me" every time
I've had three and my OB doesn't see a problem with me having another one. I asked him how many he thinks I can have and his response is that it depends on how the mother heals, but in general his practice usually tells people tp stop at 5.
I've had 3. The last one I had my tubes tied as well which was a good thing since my uterus was extremely thin with #3 and I had a lot of scar tissue. The surgery did take a little bit longer then my 1st and 2nd but my recovery was a breeze. I had easy recoveries with ds1 and ds2 but this time I jumped right back in.
ETA: My OB said with every c/s they would tell me what they thought about having another. With ds2, I had hardly no scar tissue and everything looked good. Like I said above with ds3, my OB said she would have advised me not to have anymore if I wasn't already getting my tubes tied. She has had women be able to have 4-5 c/s though.
I had tons of adhesions when they were doing my second one. I am scheduled for my third and my doc says she'll let me know her recommendation when they get in there for #3. I think it is different for everyone. GL!

We are TTC #3. That is my personal limit. I will get my tubes tied. I'm also an L&D nurse, and most docs I know are not comfortable doing more than four. It gets SO risky after that, when you see people's scar tissue and adhesions, it's like glue inside, and it's so difficult to work through. Plus the more you have, the riskier it is. Of course if someone gets pregnant and they require a c-section they will do it, but it's important for the doctor to take it case by case and let the patient know when they would recommend stopping. To just throw out a number isn't helpful and doesn't mean it's safe for people to continue having kids.
I had my 3rd in August and it went very well. It really seems to be a case by case basis. My OB told me that I *could* have another if I wanted but she had done a recent c/s w/ her partner and it was the woman's 3rd. She said her insides were a mess of scars and adhesions and if it were her patient she would tell her it would be a bad idea to have more.
