The posts below reminded me that we were trying to update what's going on with the big brothers and sisters every once in a while and we haven't in forever!
Let's see all those "big" kids and hear how they are adjusting now that a little more time has passed!
Here's Owen giving me a hard time with this photo shoot. Never. Stops. Wiggling.

He's stopped testing us quite as much as he was a few months ago, thankfully. I think he finally "gets" that Lily is here to stay! He is pretty sweet with her and thinks her noises are hilarious. And his 3rd birthday party is Sunday so he is pretty psyched about that!
Annnnd, your turn!
Re: What's up with all the Big Kids/Siblings?
Totally agree!
An invitation to brag about Ben? Oh, ok, if you insist.
Like Owen (who is PRECIOUS, btw!), Benjamin seems to have adjusted for the most part. He definitely still has his moments, but when it happens it seems to be more of an "I am THREE, hear me ROAR" kind of thing than a new sibling adjustment issue. He absolutely adores Emily: asks to hold her several times a day, tries to comfort her when she cries, asks tons of questions about her development and what she can and can't do, why, when will she be able to, and will he get to help her learn. Totally precious. He goes to preschool twice a week and the teacher says he's really doing great. He's developmentally on track, and socially she says he's always concerned with "being kind" to his friends, which makes my heart melt into one giant wow-I-love-him-puddle.
Here are a few of my most recent faves of him:
He insisted I take that last one because his donut made his face green like the Grinch!
DD has been acting out....the terrible twos...they are real. Very real. And very scary. HA.
All kidding aside, she is doing great with DS and loves to kiss and hug him. She adapted very well to him and thankfully has always enjoyed him.
Aw, thanks!! We're pretty fond of these little boogers.
omg, I need a 9 year old, clearly! That's awesome that she is so helpful. I get the occasional diaper delivered to the trash and that's about it!
Oh. My. Goodness. That is ridic cute. He is one cool dude!
Your sig photo makes me smile every time I see it.
I need to do salt dough ornaments! We're doing gingerbread people tomorrow and I can't wait. It's going to be an unholy mess.
Lol... nooooo.
I die over the photos, especially the swing one. Flipping adorable!!!
I think our boys would be total besties.
Ahhh! I want to snuggle on those faces! I seriously considered both of your kids' names too. Good luck with the twos... two was not too bad for us but I am completely side-eyeing three. ::gulp::
L is potty learning. She's also using new phrases, like "I forget" or "not yet." Cracks me up. She plays with Kevin sometimes and other times steals his toys.
I was just looking at pics from last year and I can't believe the difference between 20 months and 32 months.
She was dropping K. I saved him, but had to catch a pic first.
I feel odd adding to this thread because my kids aren't young. But I would like to update anyway if that's ok??
Austin, my oldest is going in next week to speak to the Air Force recruiter. Im excited for him. I can't believe he's already getting ready for this part of his life. He can't decide if he wants to go ahead and skip a grade (he has the option) to go in early or just finish out his two years of high school. My thought is he should just finish his two years and not miss out on his high school experience. Dh thinks he should get a jump on the Air Force..in the end it's Austins decision. We'll see.
Dustin is my crazy kid. He lives and breathes football!!!! Literally..but with his little scrawny self he'll be lucky to be a waterboy. But he may surprise us all, He still hasn't gotten to comfy around the baby but the older lo gets the more Dustin plays with him. I can't wait until they are chasing each other around!
And my baby girl Cheyenne. She's going through her puberty stage right now and it's murder!!!! I remember going through it and it sucks. I have a feeling any day now AF will show up and that terrifies me. She already knows all the in's and out's of mother nature but actually going through it is a whole new ballgame. This is the first year she got nothing "toy" related for christmas, everything is makeup..hair stuff and clothes. She's lo's favorite person! She will carry him all day if I let her but she doesn't like the diapers and crying so lets just hope she remember's that when she's older lol!!!!
