My granny wants to know...

That "gel" cake icing, I hope y'all know what I'm talking about, I'm mobile and can't attach a picture... will it set up and harden?

I'm inclined to say, "Yes" if its put in the fridge.

Any experience anyone?

    it doesn't harden but it is thick enough that any designs made with it will stay put.

    Thanks. Google concurred. She's called me twice this week with icing related questions.

    I don't know why she thinks I'm an expert, but I feel bad that she confides in me and I don't know.
