Pregnant after a Loss

hate PGAL moments

About 15 minutes after I finished eating lunch I sat down at home to put my feet up a bit and I started thinking...when was the last time I felt LO move? And all I could think of was last night before I went to bed...

I've been super busy today and I'm sure I just haven't noticed (LO is most active at night) but all of the sudden my PGAL brain is kicking in.

I hate those moments! My afternoon will consist of being pretty still while doing desk work, drinking a few sugary liquids to hopefully getting some movement going. I know it's common for movement to decrease at this stage...but I can always feel LO's butt or back arch out several times during the day.

Anyone else having those moments this late in the game?

Henry Cavill...You're welcome!

Re: hate PGAL moments

  • My doctor has been telling me to expect a decrease in movement for the past few weeks. I know she is try to prepare my PgAL brain. Even knowing this is not all that reassuring. HUGS

Yep.  They start to run out of room.  Mine still has quiet days/periods and it drives me batty.  I was really stressed out on Tuesday, and then when I did my kick count it took her a while to get going...I'm sure she was just tired because I had been so stressed out all day, but my nerves were shot!

  • I knew within an hour of posting this I'd feel LO move...and I just did, small but for sure movements...I'm sure the hiccups will follow sometime this afternoon, followed by early evening stretching so much that I swear I can see LO's defined butt on the top right of my stomach!! DH and I swear LO is mooning me...

It felt good to get it out though and to hear (even though I already know) I'm not the only one!! Thanks ladies!!

Hahaha... love it. So glad you got some reassurance. I was also going to suggest that you might be getting to the point where LO is running out of room and not moving as much due to that.

    Just keep swimming.
  • Glad you felt LO move after all!

My entire day is made up of PGAL moments, I can't shrug them off, ever. I just posted about how I'm scared to take any tags off my baby clothes because I still don't feel like I will be able to take LO home. :(

This is so hard! Hang in there, not too much longer left for us! Thank goodness.
