Ways to hang quilt from bedding set?

With DD#1 I got the full bedding set and we NEVER used the quilt/blanket from it. By the time she was old enough for a blanket in the crib, it was either too heavy or she wanted something to ball up and snuggle with. This time around, I had decided to skip the bedding set and just used some accessories, but my mom bought it for us.

So, I'm wondering, could I hang the quilt on the walls somehow for decoration? Any ideas how? I've seen quilt shelves, but they would seem to only work with longer quilts that could be folded over and still hang. Those bedding blankets don't seem big enough for that.

I sewed 2 small pieces of ribbon in each corner and hung ours from 2 nails. I figured this way if I even needed to use it, it was easy enough to take down and put back without too much trouble. Plus, with just a few stiches on each ribbon, I could always take them off and probably never know the difference.

I pinned a safety pin on each of the top 2 corners (i'm not very good at sewing), and then hung the pins from a tiny nail in the wall. The pins keep the holes in the blanket to a minimum, but the blanket is light enough that it's held securely to the wall.

We used heavy-duty double sided tape along the top of the blanket and in the bottom corners. Works great, easy to take off, and didn't leave any marks on the walls when we took it off to move.
